America’s Catholic Television Network®

The CatholicTV Network, a national cable and Internet broadcaster of Catholic content, is pleased to air the Episcopal Ordination Mass of Bishop-elect Mark O’Connell, JCD, and Bishop-elect Robert P. Reed, the President of the CatholicTV Network.

For 61 years, CatholicTV has spiritually enriched the lives of its viewers and built a powerful prayer community through the Daily Mass, the Rosary and other prayer programming, as well as its educational and talk programming. With a schedule that includes news, entertainment, inspirational programming, and prayer, among other genres, CatholicTV has truly heeded Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI’s call to use the power of television and new media to spread the Good News.

Since moving to its studios and offices in Watertown, Massachusetts in 2007, CatholicTV has extended its reach across the globe and made Catholic programming available to a diverse and vibrant community of Catholics. In addition to its daily broadcast of the Mass and Rosary, the Network also produces original programming, airs programs from around the world, and covers Vatican events. As the “Parish of the Airwaves,” it continues to build a true, deeply connected community of faith. The Network represents a cable TV station available in more than 14 million homes, an interactive website with HD live and video-on-demand, OTT apps and a monthly printed and digital magazine. CatholicTV is available 24 hours a day in an increasing number of formats.

The Episcopal Ordination of Bishops-elect O’Connell and Reed will air LIVE from Boston’s Cathedral of the Holy Cross on CatholicTV’s cable channels, on CatholicTV.com, and on its Apple TV, Roku and mobile applications. The Mass will be rebroadcast the same evening at 8pm ET, and be made available for on demand viewing across multiple platforms.
